II. "Playing by Ear is Really Playing by Mind” Adolph Sandole
 
A. We learn a phrase by “ear” ( Intuitively)while the”mind” puts it together (Logically). We do this by:
 
1. Singing the phrase in order to “Internalize “it.
 
2. Analyzing Which Elements are used that comprise the phrase.

B. We take this phrase and use this process to play it in different keys and in several “Symetrical Intervalic Combinations.”
 
I call this technique:”Getting Beyond Transposing.”
