2. Playing V7 to I
    
A) Students Play Alone Over 2 Bar Ostinato: V7 (II V) to I Maj
              
a) Primarily using Diatonic Notes of the Key
               
b) Using Diatonic Notes Transitioning to Diminished Chord
                 
c) Using b5th Key on the V7 . Ex: Intro to “Star Eyes”
                  
d) Using the “Back Door” (IV -/bVII7) on the V7
 
Ex: “Killer Joe” 

3. What Is This Thing” Phase#2 “Harmonic Options” (We will cover A,B, and C)
 
A) Minor to Minor”and “Harmonic Minor to Major” on “A” Section

B) Explain Use of Melodic Minor on Dominant 7th Chords
